The Conduit Foundation ​​​

The Conduit Foundation brings together people, ideas and funding to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges. As the charitable arm of The Conduit, a global purpose-driven community, the Foundation supports ambitious early-stage initiatives with the potential to create lasting change.

Howden Foundation is supporting a dedicated Global South urban heat workstream within the Conduit Foundation's Urban Heat & Resilient Cities initiative, complementing a wider climate and health solutions programme. The programme will identify and showcase practical, investable heat adaptation solutions, bringing together city leaders, investors, insurers and other experts to help turn ideas into action.

The initiative is expected to engage 400–600 senior stakeholders, support discussions with leaders from at least 10 Global South cities, explore new financing mechanisms for heat adaptation, and publish insights and a practical blueprint to help cities move from recognising risk to implementation.
