Groundswell International

Groundswell International is a network of NGO partners working in the Global South. It is the coordinating partner of the consortium working on a new initiative: Water Wise Africa.

Water Wise Africa, supported by RIDEP, ReSCOPE, Muonde Trust, and Groundswell West Africa, promotes community-led farming practices that help to address water scarcity in areas affected by extreme heat and drought.

Howden Foundation is supporting the consortium to establish Water Hubs in communities across five different countries – Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mali and Burkina Faso. These hubs will serve as demonstration and learning sites, providing training on water literacy, the water cycle, and a community's role in sustaining it.
Water Wise Africa’s approach and achievements will be shared widely to empower partners across Africa and beyond to replicate its impact.
