About Joanne
Joanne has over 25 years' experience in financial services, banking, (re)insurance and wealth management. She started her career as a barrister before joining city law firm, Barlow Lyde & Gilbert where she became a partner in the Reinsurance & International Risk team. Subsequently she moved in-house to join one of her largest clients, Aviva and most recently was the General Counsel & Company Secretary for the Insurance, Pensions & Investments business at Lloyds Banking Group. Joanne has extensive experience advising Boards and the C-suite on critical business decisions including M&A, corporate restructures, corporate governance, transformational change, regulatory engagement, material litigation and dispute resolution.
